National testing Agency (NTA) conducts various entrance exams in India including ICAR’s AIEEA, AICE. NTA has issued a notification about the modification in eligibility criteria for AIEEA (PG) & AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D) 2021.
The notice informs that the eligibility criteria is modified such that the students from non accredited colleges and Programmes can also appear for the above mentioned exams, which will be held in September, 2021. The whole list of such colleges is available on the official website.
The official notice reads, "Considering acute COVID-19 pandemic situation and its impact on applicant universities, the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board (ICAR) has decided that students from those non-accredited colleges/programmes (please refer list attached), where Self Study Reports (SSRs) for accreditation have been submitted to the Council on or before 17th August 2021 may appear in AIEEA to be conducted by NTA for the Academic Session 2021-22."
Registrations for the exams are in progress. Last date to apply for the same is 27th August, 2021.
Although, this is not the first time that the eligibility has been amended. However, no other criteria’s were changed and the rest were to be followed as per the original notice.
