PMJDY is a nationwide scheme launched by the Government of India which aims to ensure financial inclusion of every person who does not have a bank account in India. This scheme provides all banking services like remittance, credit, insurance, pension, savings and deposit accounts to the poor and needy section of our society.

How to Check the Balance of Your Jan Dhan Account?

You can check your Jan Dhan account balance in two ways. In this, the first way is through missed call and the second way is through PFMS portal. Let us know the complete process of these two.

Through PFMS Portal:

To know the balance from PFMS portal, log on to the official website. Then, click on 'Know Your Payment'. Now you will have to enter your account number. After that you have to fill the given captcha code. Now your account balance will be displayed on the screen in front of you.

Via Missed Call:

You can also check your account balance through missed calls. If you have a Jan Dhan account with the State Bank of India then you can check balance through missed call. For this, you can make a missed call on the number 18004253800 or 1800112211.

Note, you have to make a missed call on it from your registered mobile number.
