Susovan Sonu Roy is a well-known Bengali TV actor who has appeared in several well-known Bengali TV serials, including Aakash Aath channel Anandamoyee Maa (2019), Star Jalsha Channel Mohor (2019), Korapakhi (2020), Titli (2020), Zee Bangla channels, Star Jalsha channels (2021), Khelaghar serial (2021), and many others. He's also a model, a social media influencer, and a Western dancer.

Characters and His growing Interest in Acting 

His passion for acting grew shortly after he graduated, and he began attending various programs and auditions. Sonu underwent the acting school workshops of Pijush Saha, a well-known Bengali producer, and director, from 2016 to 2018. Afterward, when, he got what he was looking for in 2019. In 2019, he had his first acting role in the Aanadamoyee Maa TV serial on the Aakash Aath channel. 

Following that, he was offered several opportunities to work in other serials. People became aware of him when he worked in the Star Jalsha channel's television serial "Mohor," and his fan base expanded.

He worked in Khelaghar serials in 2021 and is currently prepping for his upcoming projects. 

His Views on “Acting” 

Susovan Sonu Roy believes that portraying a character is a challenging task. The task of an actor is to bring the written character to life through an interesting and credible portrayal. Since it is a visual medium, the effectiveness of a drama or film is frequently dependent on the actor. Acting is a way to tell a story in which a person enacts or adopts a character to convey a story. 

Roy also considers that the success or failure of a film is mostly determined by how well the actors portray their roles. The main task of the actor is to bring the character to life. The characters on the screen elicit emotional responses from the audience.
