A commerce graduate, Abhishek initially ventured into the corporate world, running his own company. However, fate had different plans for him. Following the untimely demise of his father, Abhishek made a pivotal decision to close his company and embrace the world of farming. Challenges Faced

In the initial stages of his farming journey, Abhishek faced challenges as he grappled with a lack of guidance and information. However, he took bold steps, such as replacing his guava orchard with pomegranate trees. Unfortunately, the expected benefits did not materialise, forcing him to re-evaluate his strategy. The turning point came when the internet bridged the information gap for farmers, connecting them through WhatsApp groups where they could share valuable insights.

Diversification of Land

Establishing Own Company, 'Pickle Junction' 

The inception of 'Pickle Junction,' Abhishek's brand, shows his entrepreneurial spirit. Not confined to local markets, Abhishek has embraced the digital era, selling his pickles on Amazon, reaching a wider audience, and expanding his business horizons. Approximately 20 percent of his lemon crop finds its way into delectable pickles, while the rest graces the traditional markets.

Abhishek's orchard shows his meticulous planning, featuring a mix of lemon varieties, including a perennial type and the locally renowned 'Kagzi' lemon, known for its thin peel. In the guava domain, his farm hosts varieties like 'Barafkhana' and several others, showcasing a commitment to biodiversity and quality.
