Rubber Board's Platinum Jubilee Celebrated 75 Years of Promoting & Regulating Rubber Cultivation in India
The Rubber Board marked the Platinum Jubilee Celebration of the Rubber Act for completing 75 years. The Rubber Fraternity in India comprises 538 large estates, 4447 consumers, 108 processors, 12 lakh small growers, 8309 growers, and 25 lakhs+ employees. Today marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Rubber Board, which has played a crucial role in promoting and regulating rubber cultivation in the state. The Rubber Board was formed as a result of the Rubber Act, which also turns 75 today. The celebrations for this milestone commenced, with Dr. Savan Dhanania, the Chairman of the Rubber Board, presiding over the event.

FICCI Organised the 9th Edition of India Maize Summit 2023 in New Delhi Today
FICCI has been organizing the India Maize Summit since 2013, and the past eight editions have been successful. The event was attended by leading names from the agri industry, including Sunjay Vuppuluri, FASAR Segment, Yes Bank, Pravesh Sharma, Chairman FICCI Taskforce on FPOs and Director Samunnati, TR Kesavan, Chairman, FICCI National Agriculture Committee, and Group President, TAFE Ltd, and Anuja Kadian, Government and Industry Affairs Director, Asia Pacific, Corteva Agriscience.

G20 Nations Must Promote Crop Diversification and Digital Tools, Says Minister
In near future, India would be the largest producer of millet in the world, says VK Singh, Minister of State for civil aviation while inaugurating the G20 meeting of agricultural chief scientists (MACS) in Varanasi. On Monday, VK Singh, Varanasi Union minister said that in the near future, India would be the largest producer of millets in the world as the government is serious about promoting its output due to the nutritional qualities of millets.

Kerala Introduces Water Budget to Combat Summer Water Scarcity for First Time
An multitude of rivers, streams, backwaters, and a good quantity of rainfall contribute to Kerala's lush flora, despite the fact that many regions of the state endure extreme water scarcity during the summers. As a result, the state has adopted a Water Budget, the first of its type in the country. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan unveiled the specifics of the state's first phase of the Water Budget on Monday, including 94 grama panchayats in 15 block panchayats. At the ceremony, Vijayan stated that the state's water availability was decreasing, and that a water budget would be beneficial in properly utilizing the resource and minimizing waste.
