    On Friday, June 18, fuel prices in the country remained unchanged for the 27th day in a row. Prices of petrol and diesel had been remained stable since May 21, when the union government announced an Rs 8 per liter reduction in excise duty on petrol and Rs 6 per liter reduction in excise duty on diesel.

According to details, 33 of the 117 colleges did not comply with rules requiring such educational institutions to have adequate infrastructure to provide agriculture education to students by 2020.

    According to GNIDA officials, the farmers who have been protesting the Gangajal project for the past six months have agreed to allow construction to begin alongside development work in Palla village – one of their demands that the authority accepted in the meeting between the two sides. At the meeting on Thursday, officials from the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) said they approved some of the farmers' demands, with the next round of talks expected soon.
