These States To Receive Heavy Rains From 25th to 29th October
The India Meteorological Department said that Tamil Nadu, Karaikal & Puducherry is likely to receive isolated heavy to very heavy rains from 25th October to 29th October. IMD also forecasts light showers over Kerala & Mahe from 25th October to 27th October; over the south interior Karnataka on Monday & Tuesday; over the coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema on 28th & 29th October.

PM Modi Launches Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission
On 25th October (Monday), Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission that aims to strengthen the critical healthcare network across the county over the next 4 to 5 years. PM Modi has also launched various development projects worth around Rs 5200 crore for Varanasi.

India’s Rubber Output Dented Due To Heavy Rains
Indian’s natural rubber production is likely to fall sharply in the month of October & November as heavy rains have been disrupting tapping activity in the country’s top producing the southern state of Kerala. The lower production could force India, the world’s second-biggest consumer of natural rubber to increase the imports in coming months from Indonesia, Thailand & Malaysia supporting the global price.
