IMD Predicts Heavy Falls In These States Till November 1
The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rain warnings for Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Puducherry & Karnataka from 28th October to 1st November. This is because of the low-pressure area lying over the southwest Bay of Bengal off the Sri Lanka Coast & associated cyclonic circulation is likely to move westwards during the next 48 hours. IMD also predicts heavy rains at the isolated places are very likely over the coastal Andhra Pradesh from 28th October to 31st October along with the isolated heavy falls on 29th October.

Delhi Govt Launches: “Patake Nahi Diya Jalao” Campaign
The Government of Delhi has begun the anti-firecracker campaign to promote the pollution-free festival. Delhi is among the world’s top polluted cities, witnesses the worst level of smog post-Diwali every year, coupled with low temperatures & stubble burning. Therefore, to prevent the situation, the government of Delhi has come up with “Patake Nahi, Diya Jalao” Campaign.

FSSAI Launches Mobile App To Connect With Consumers
On 27th October (Wednesday), India’s apex food regulator Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) announced the launch of a mobile application to improve the connection with consumers & food business operations (FBOs). This App will basically help the food businesses, particularly hawkers, start-ups, vendors, to apply for FSSAI registration through a faster & convenient mode.
