Big News: Modi Government likely to increase Rs 6,000 cash support under PM-Kisan Yojana; Register Now, Direct Link Inside

Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, popularly known as PM Kisan, the Central government provides an income support of Rs 6000 per year to farmers in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each. Lakhs of farmers are taking benefit of this government scheme.

In addition, Sitharaman has promised a never before like Union Budget as the BJP government looks to give a further boost to the economy.

According to sources, the Centre is most likely to announce a cash hike under PM-Kisan yojana to help farmers and to calm down the situation at Delhi borders. Let me tell you that thousands of farmers from different part of the country mainly from neighboring Punjab are protesting against Government’s three contentious farm bills since last 51 days.

What is PM Kisan Yojana?

PM Kisan Yojana is Central Government’s most ambitious scheme for the benefit of farming community. The scheme was launched in the year 2018 and it provides financial help of Rs 6000 annually to the farmers. To avail benefit of the scheme, farmers have to register themselves either online or offline. The easiest way is online registration that can be done at the official website of PM Kisan - https://pmkisan.gov.in/

PM Kisan Online Registration Process

Farmers must have some documents before registering for the scheme. Apart from land papers, they must have Aadhaar card, updated bank account details, address proof, mobile number and passport size photo. With all these documents, they can easily register their name under this scheme sitting at home.

Steps to register online;

Step 1 - Go to the official website of PM Kisan scheme - https://pmkisan.gov.in/.  At ‘Farmers corner’ you will see ‘New registration option’, just click it. Now a new page will open.

Step 2 - Write your Aadhaar number on the new page, after which the registration form will open.

Step 3 - Fill all details asked, like from which state or district you are. Besides this, farmers will have to provide their name, gender, category, Aadhaar card information, bank account number to which the money will be transferred, its IFSC code, address, mobile number, date of birth etc. You will also have to give details about your land. Survey or account number, Khasra number etc.

Step 4 - After filling all these information, click on submit.

Step 5 - Your form will be submitted and the system will provide you a reference number.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 25 had released over Rs 18,000 crore to more than 9 crore farmers under PM-Kisan and soon it will release the increased installment to the beneficiaries. Hence those who haven’t registered must do it now to get benefit of this government scheme.
