Farmers who have finished Class XII and are between the ages of 21 and 45 must submit documentation related to their agricultural land, a driver's licence, and an Aadhaar card to be eligible for this scheme, according to a press release. Those interested may get application forms from the Deputy Director of Agriculture (Agri Business) office on Trichy Road, Ramanathapuram, or through the nearest Uzhavar Sandhais, and submit them to the Deputy Director's office by May 20.

The State government intends to implement the 'Farm to Home' scheme in five Corporations: Chennai, Tiruchi, Salem, Coimbatore, and Tiruppur, under which farmers would receive financial aid of Rs 2 lakh or a 40% subsidy to purchase delivery vehicles. According to the statement, six cars would be introduced in Coimbatore Corporation to cover the 100 wards.
