Insecticides India Limited to manufacture two important insecticides in India

Insecticides Limited is endeavoring to reduce its dependence on China. In this regard, it has decided to create chief intermediates in India.  Managing Director of IIL, Rajesh Aggarwal said, “At present we are importing about 30-35 per cent of the raw material from China. We are planning to produce it locally. When we set up our plant for the intermediates by the end of this calendar year, we would be able to reduce their imports by 7-8 per cent.”

Bayer announced the European launch of its global Carbon Initiative

Bayer announced the European launch of its global Carbon Initiative.  The program’s main goal is to fight climate change by establishing carbon farming practices at farmers’ level with benefits for the entire agricultural value chain this  Program will start with over 25 farmers across seven countries in the EU and beyond. Bayer is the first agriculture company to offer all the necessary technologies in terms of seeds and traits, crop protection and digital solutions, cost-efficient MRV and certification according to internationally recognized standards.

Bioheuris partners with GDM to develop crop management system

Bioheuris and GDM, a leading global soybeans genetics powerhouse, announced a collaboration agreement on June 29 to develop high yielding varieties using gene editing technology. Through this collaboration, both companies will be engaged to precisely modify soybean genes to obtain elite varieties with a novel crop management system.

K.V Singh appointed as a Vice President of E-Mandi platform

Origo Commodities has appointed K. V. Singh as a Vice President of E-Mandi digital platform. BBSF receives approval by all relevant merger control authorities

The joint venture between Bosch and BASF Digital Farming to globally market and sell smart farming technologies from a single source has now received approval by all relevant merger control authorities. It has been registered as Bosch BASF Smart Farming (BBSF). The company will distribute its Smart Spraying solution, which Bosch and BASF are developing and testing, to initial markets in North America, South America and Europe. Its Intelligent Planting Solution is already commercially available in Brazil and Argentina.
