ReshaMandi, a B2B marketplace digitizing the natural fiber supply chain, strengthens its leadership team by appointing Abhishek Kumar as SVP - Marketing and Subramanya Srikant as Head of Human Resources.

ReshaMandi, a B2B marketplace digitizing the natural fiber supply chain, strengthens its leadership team by appointing Abhishek Kumar as SVP - Marketing and Subramanya Srikant as Head of Human Resources. With this hiring, ReshaMandi aims to extend operations, as well as move closer to its broader goal of shaping the ecosystem of natural fibres in India.

Abhishek Has Been Associated With Many Big Organizations

Abhishek Kumar, SVP - will drive the end-to-end marketing strategy for the ReshaMandi group as well as all the brands under its umbrella. With his diverse experience over 17 years, Abhishek will efficiently modernize marketing and advertising strategies to suit the post-pandemic era of digital and traditional media.

In his past assignments, Abhishek has been instrumental in building some of the most compelling narratives for brands in India, lending greatly to their overall marketability and sales. In his previous stint as VP- Digital at Edelman, he has worked with brands such as Lakme, Flipkart, PayPal, among others. Prior to that, Abhishek has been associated with organizations like Aviva Life Insurance, Yahoo!, Radio Mirchi & Ogilvy in various capacities but primarily focused on communication strategy, content & branding.

Subramanya Srikant, Head of Human Resources, is a seasoned HR leader who brings over two decades of industry experience in the execution of employee strategy, end-to-end HR initiatives/programs and service delivery management to align with major organizational priorities. “I am excited to join Reshamandi as it is a company focused to helping farmers and small-time rural businessmen enabling Technology”, said Subramanya.

His areas of expertise include policy design, implementation of standardized human resource processes, talent management, M&A, rewards and benefits, employee engagement and retention programs besides analytics.

Previously, Subramanya was the Head of HR at River sand Technologies, a Data management company. He started his career working as an IT developer for Telecom giant AT&T and spent the first 12 years of his career working for fortune 100 companies mainly in the technical domain.

ReshaMandi Expanded Procurement Facilities To Major Weaving Regions of South

ReshaMandi has also expanded procurement facilities to the South with centres in Salem and Dharmavaram which are one of the major weaving regions, and to the North to assist weavers in Banaras and Chanderi. The company is pioneering efficient technology, scientific testing, logistics, finance, demand, and growth with a once-in-a-millennia disruption of a traditional sector. ReshaMandi, via the Atmanirbhar Bharat concept, is also actively promoting skill development of artisans and weavers, to facilitate self-sufficiency.
