Bank Holidays in July 2022: Banks to Be Closed for 12 Days in July; Check Full List Here

June is almost over, and if you have any critical bank-related work to finish before the end of the month, you should do so while keeping in mind that banks will be closed for three days in the remaining month of June.

For the rest of June, all private and government banks will be closed for three days. Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and commercial banks both observe public and country- and state-specific holidays. 

Apart from the required bank holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, there are several additional holidays when banks are closed. Below we have given a detailed list of bank holidays in June as well as July.

  • 22 June 2022 (Wednesday) Kharchi Puja- Tripura.

  • 25 June 2022 Saturday 4th (Saturday) All States.

  • 30 June 2022 (Wednesday) Remna Ni- Mizoram

List of Bank Holidays in July 2022

  • 1 July 2022 (Friday)-Banks will be closed in Orissa on the occasion of Ratha Yatra.

  • 5 July 2022 (Tuesday)- Banks remain shut in the states of Jammu and Kashmir due to Guru Hargobind Ji's Birthday. 

  • 6 July 2022 (Wednesday)- Banks to remain closed in Mizoram due to MHIP Day. 

  • 7 July 2022 (Thursday)- Banks will remain shut in Tripura due to the occasion of Kharchi Puja.

  • 9 July 2022 (Saturday)- Banks will remain closed in All States of India due to Id-Ul-Ad'ha.

  • 11 July 2022 (Monday)- Banks will be closed in All states due to the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

  • 13 July 2022 (Wednesday)- Banks will remain shut on the occasion of Martyr’s Day in Jammu & Kashmir. 

  • 13 July 2022 (Wednesday)- Banks to remain closed in Sikkim on the occasion of Bhanu Jayanti.

  • 14 July 2022 (Thursday)- On the day of Ben Dienkhlam, banks in Meghalaya will be closed.

  • 16 July 2022 (Saturday)- Banks to remain shut in Uttrakhand on the occasion of Harela.

  • 17 July 2022 (Sunday)- Banks will remain shut in all states due to Sunday.

  • 26 July 2021 (Tuesday)- Banks will remain closed in Tripura due to Ker Puja.

  • 31 July 2022 (Sunday)- Banks will remain shut in all states due to Sunday.
