Good News! Get PAN Card Free of Cost Without Submitting Any Document

PAN card is considered as one of the most important identity documents, which is used at almost all places & in the verification processes. Recently, the central government made it mandatory for Indian citizens to link their Aadhar card with a PAN card, which is a 0 digit alphanumeric PAN number. PAN card is used in carrying out huge transactions & other important tasks.

Now, the users can get their PAN card at no cost if they have an Aadhar card. Using Aadhar based eKYC, the PAN cards will b issued instantly.

If you have not done your Aadhar eKYC, this is how you can apply for a Free & Instant PAN card

  • Visit the new portal of Income Tax

  • Click on the Instant PAN option.

  • Now click on “Get new E-PAN”.

  • With the help of this facility, the user will get an e-PAN on a near real-time basis in PDF format.

Now enter your Aadhar number & check the box that says I confirm that & the Income Tax department will seek your affirmation for these points

  • I have never been allotted a PAN yet.

  • My active Mobile Number is linked with the Aadhar.

  • My complete details of the birth are available on the Aadhar.

  • I am not a minor as on the application date of a Permanent Account Number.

Now, you will receive an OTP on your Registered Mobile Number

  • A 15 digit acknowledgment number will be generated after this.

  • No, a copy of your newly generated PAN card will be sent to your email ID, which is linked to your Aadhar card.

  • This should be noted that the process can take few days & one can check the PAN status using the acknowledgment number in the new Income Tax Portal.

Note - PAN Card is used by every individual including those from agriculture or farm sector.
