Number of post - 2 (where the candidates will be based in Central India and report to Principal Investigator, Tahrauli, Jhansi, UP project. This post is intended to support research in farming system.
Eligibility and other details
The candidate should have a undergraduate degree in science / agricultural science or any other related disciplines.
He or she should be willing to work with a multidisciplinary team.
Have fluency in oral as well as writing skill in Hindi.
Willing to travel to various location project sites for undertaking research experiments & data collection.
It must be noted that the job is for a period of 24 months (contract basis).

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will have to support multi-disciplinary project team in implementing a range of NRM interventions

Experimental field data collection on water, soil, nutrient, agronomy & socio-economic parameters

Take on crop cutting experiments & sample processing.

Experience in ways to recover hydrology data

Experience in soil moisture data collection through gravimetric measurement method
