AgFarm, an agricultural chemical company, has expanded its operations into Telangana by introducing 11 products, including herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and plant growth regulators. After launching the products in Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, the Dubai-based company expanded into Telangana, one of the country's top agrochemical consuming states.

"These are useful for farmers who grow crops like paddy, cotton, brinjal, tomato, okra, grapes, chillies, and maize," the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

"They target a variety of pests such as jassids, aphids, thrips, bollworms, aphid, shoot fly, stem borer, leaf hopper, leaf eating caterpillar, stem fly, and thrips," according to the description.

"The products are only available on the nurture.retail app, an e-commerce platform that connects agri-retailers with manufacturers and farmers," said Vaman Alawadhi, AgFarm Director.

"Our current collaboration with nurture.retail will allow the State's retailers and distributors to break free from the circle of mediators," he added.

Aside from ensuring transparency, this window will allow State manufacturers, retailers, and dealers to establish a digital connection with the company and purchase products at reasonable prices.

"By avoiding traditional over-the-counter selling, it will reduce unnecessary travel to cities, saving them time and money," he explained.
