After the second COVID-19 wave in some states, economic activity in India is gradually returning to normal, which is a positive indication for all. Sonalika Tractors has shattered all records with the greatest ever Q1 cumulative tractor sales of 33,219 units, representing a 30.6 percent increase, demonstrating its dedication to stay connected with farmers even during the toughest times of the 2nd wave.

After the first ever lockdown in 2020, the tractor sector led India's comeback from the front, and Sonalika Tractors had a strong performance throughout the year, regularly surpassing the industry's growth.

Sonalika Tractors is completely prepared to launch maximum new tractors in FY'22, building on the momentum of FY'21 to launch maximum revolutionary items. Sonalika's next technologically superior tractors will set new industry standards, as they will be packed with unique characteristics to lead the agro evolution both in India and overseas.

"The utmost priority of Sonalika Tractors is to develop advanced technologies and farm mechanisation solutions that enable farmers to earn a better livelihood," Raman Mittal, Executive Director, Sonalika Group, said of the company's dominant performance. "It is in Sonalika's DNA to never shy away from its responsibilities, and whenever the company has come across any complex situation, it has kept farm mechanisation solutions in mind," he added.

He also expressed his gratitude to farmers for their unwavering faith in their customized heavy-duty tractor line. This faith has helped them grow stronger and quicker, as seen by their highest-ever Q1 total tractor sales of 33,219 units, representing a 30.6 percent increase, even throughout the COVID-19 testing period. The exports have increased by 90% as worldwide markets have opened up, which is also a positive sign of global economic recovery. They remain committed to launching industry-first products that will help the farmers achieve farm success."

“ The government has already increased MSP on Kharif crops by up to 5%, and based on predictions of a healthy monsoon, we should see healthy demand for tractors this year as well, similar to last year. Our customised tractors will set high benchmarks while significantly increasing farmer's income and steering us faster towards our vision of assisting farm mechanisation”, he said.
