Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently announced the extension of free ration scheme to 80 crore people for four months up to November and the implementation of One Nation, One Ration Card across the nation.

Crore People will Get Free Grain through Ration Card

Narendra Modi has recently announced to give free ration to 80 crore people under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojanatill next November. A cost of about 90 thousand crore rupees will be invested under this scheme. However, the government will be given this benefit by One Nation One Ration Card Scheme.

Who can get a ration card Let us tell you that ration card cannot be made for every person in the country? Its facility is only for people of a certain income group. Its range also varies in every state. Its facility is given to people from the above poverty line (APL), below poverty line (BPL) and Antyodaya families.

Important Information related to Ration Card

It is mandatory to be an Indian citizen to get a ration card. There should not be a ration card of another state. Age should be more than 18 years. Children under 18 years of age are included in the parents' ration card. A family has a ration card in the name of the head of the family.
