  • IMD Predicts Heavy rains In This State In The Next 24 Hours

    On 24th November (Wednesday), The India Meteorological Department said that heavy to extremely heavy rainfalls are expected in Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, there will be widespread light to moderate rains is likely in some southern states during the next five days. The southern states have been receiving incessant rain since the beginning of November. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the southwest Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours. It is likely to move towards the west north-westwards towards Sri Lanka & South Tamil Nadu coast.

    CFA Institute, the global association of the investment professionals has urged the policymakers & stakeholders to scale up the financing in sustainable agriculture products, in order to address the climate change vulnerability. As per the report by CFA Institute in partnership with Climate Bonds Initiative, agriculture, which is the primary source of livelihood for about 58% of India’s population & contributes to the global food security as one of the major producers of agro commodities is particularly vulnerable to the climate change.

  • Delhi CM: Free Travel to Ayodhya for Senior Citizens

    On 24th November (Wednesday), Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal announced Starting the next week; the Delhi government will be sending senior citizens from the national capital to Ayodhya darshan of Shri Ram Lalla under the free pilgrimage scheme the “Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana”. “Our first train for Ayodhya will leave on 3rd December, registrations have started”, he said that as many as 1000 people will be leaving for Ayodhya on the train.
