In jute crop first weeding 15-20 DAS & second weeding at 35-40 DAS must be done. After the second wedding thinning followed by plant-to-plant distance will be maintained at 7 cm.

Makhana: To keep the water level in the Makhana field for more production. After 40 days of transplanting of Makhana plants, spray 5 % of Neem Oil at 25 days intervals for protection against all kinds of insects- pests, and diseases in the makhana crops.
