On Monday, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha decided to mark November 19 as "Fateh Diwas," the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the repeal of the three problematic agri laws, and December 11 as "Vijay Diwas," the day the farmers began to return home from the Delhi Morcha.

The decisions were made at an SKM meeting held in New Delhi's Gurdwara Rakabganj.

Dr. Darshan Pal, a member of the SKM coordination group, provided specifics, stating that PM Modi had announced the repeal of the farm laws on November 19 of the previous year. As a result of our protest at the Delhi border forcing the PM to remove these rules, unions will celebrate it as Fateh Diwas.

When speaking to the nation, Modi claimed that the laws would have helped the farmers. He also expressed regret to the people and said that despite having a clear conscience and a good heart, the administration was unable to convince all farmers.

In order to commemorate the success of the agitation, the farmers organized candlelight marches and lit diyas in their homes. Dr. Satnam Singh Ajnala, the president of the Jamhoori Kisan Sabha, declared that the government's repeal of the three laws was a significant event for the nation's citizens after leading a candlelight march near this location.

Farmers from numerous other towns and villages joined in the celebrations as well. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha had already issued the directive to observe the day as Fateh Diwas. The SKM also committed to the governor to submit a report on the Centre's unfulfilled promises, which put an end to the protests at Delhi's borders.
